• Designed and implemented hospital integration architecture for major hospital chain connected clinical and scheduling systems and provided remote access, pre-registration, and test results to referring physicians
• Facilitated IT Strategic planning workshop for prestigious university hospital
• Managed team to develop services and products to improve physician office efficiencies including outsource and centralization of back office business functions (CHIN – Community Health Information Network) - now they are called HIEs or RIHOs
• Led team to select and implement enterprise customer relationship services (CRM) system servicing 1100 concurrent users throughout five states
• Program manager of a Hospitalist process improvement program for a large medical group which included secure integration of 5 hospitals admissions data, central hospitalist and care manager support center, centralized transcription and process standardization

Paul is A healthcare information technology senior manager and consultant with broad experience in leadership, clinical systems adoption, clinical business alignment, strategic planning, business process improvement transformation, application and business requirements, workflow improvement, and health ERP implementation.  Proven experience in working with and communicating to C-level executives, senior management, physicians and other clinicians.  Outstanding customer relationship management and project delivery track record.  a proven, seasoned Leader and Information Technology Professional with over 25 years experience.  Paul is an innovator: Building organizations;  Starting new lines of business; Creating successful consulting practices; Designing new approaches to solve business problems; Building consensus through collaboration to drive change; Defining win-win scenarios where there seems not to be one.   Drawing from experience at fortune 500 corporations through bootstrapped startup companies, Paul has been fortunate to work with leading edge technology to implement complex business solutions.

He founded Lighthouse Consultium, LLC, a technology consulting company specializing in IT strategy, development, implementation, project management, and systems integration focusing on the Health Services Industry. Serving as Practice Director for Cerius Consulting Group, the practice expanded by 200% in one year.  He also served as Interim CIO for Monarch Health and Practice Technology, VP of Information Services for LA Care Health Plan, Director of Information Management and Clinical Systems for Quantum Health and Olsten, Program Manager for Digital Equipment Corporation and Director of Computer Operations for Tracor Flight Systems.

Paul serves on the board of 211 Orange County and Southern California Chapter of HIMSS. He has a BS from University of Alabama and a MHA from University of LaVerne.
